這顆麂眼螺是在墾丁發現的,與Rissoina plicatula不同的地方就是殼口下方有一齒狀突起(箭頭處),數量不多,但不會少到撿不到.

本種除墾丁外,北台灣也有發現,與第一種類似,但肋較第一種疏且斜,殼體也較第一種小,數量多,幾乎每次都能發現.
